Healthy Bolognese Recipe for Mums

This is an easy family friendly bolognese recipe.

It enables mums to use their secret weapon for getting their kids to eat more vegetables….hiding them! If you can get away with adding more vegetables some good options would be, diced capsicum, zucchini or eggplant. You can finely dice the vegetables, or for those of you that have super sleuth children, try grating or pureeing.

Feel free to use any type of mince. Turkey, beef, pork, lamb or plant based/meat free. The choice is yours. Your bolognese can be served a number of ways. On it’s own, with salad, crusty bread, with pasta, rice, in taco shells, or with a baked potato. This is a great recipe to make in bulk. Seperate into portion sizes, store in an air tight container and freeze.
