A Match Made In Heaven
Keeping a block of 70%+ dark chocolate in the fridge is a great idea.
Quality dark chocolate contains iron, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, potassium, manganese and soluble fibre.
Like all sweet things, it’s best in moderation. One handy thing to remember, is the darker the chocolate the less sugar it contains.
You can take a handful of frozen berries, melt a square or two of chocolate, mix it through the berries - and hey presto - a delicious snack or dessert.
If you melt the chocolate in the microwave make sure to do it in short bursts, stirring in between. This way you won't over heat and split the chocolate.
Enjoy!
