Mug Cakes
Who doesn’t love a dessert that can be made in 5 minutes!
Here are three delicious options.
You can always mix it up and try your own variations. Just keep the base ingredients the same and play around with the flavours.
Chocolate & Coconut Mug Cake
Ingredients
1.5 Tbsp Self Raising Flour
.5 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Cocoa Powder
2 tsp Desiccated Coconut
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Skim Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Pinch Salt
Directions:
Using approximately 250ml microwave safe mug, add flour, baking powder, cocoa, desiccated coconut and a pinch of salt.
Pour in milk, maple syrup & vanilla.
Use a fork to combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
Microwave for approximately 40 seconds
Raspberry Mug Cake
Ingredients
1.5 Tbsp Self Raising Flour
.5 tsp Baking Powder
.25 cup raspberries
1 Tbsp Skim Milk
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
Pinch Salt
Directions:
Using approximately 250ml microwave safe mug, add flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Pour in milk and maple syrup.
Use a fork to combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
Stir through raspberries.
Microwave for approximately 40 seconds.
Blueberry & Chocolate Mug Cake
Ingredients
1.5 Tbsp Self Raising Flour
.5 tsp Baking Powder
.25 cup blueberries
5g Dark Chocolate
1 Tbsp Skim Milk
2 tsp Maple Syrup
Pinch Salt
Directions:
Using approximately 250ml microwave safe mug, add flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Grate or finely chop chocolate and add to mug.
Pour in milk and maple syrup.
Use a fork to combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
Stir through blueberries.
Microwave for approximately 40 seconds.
